The Paralympic Experience
The Paralympic Experience is a day-long celebration of Paralympic sport. The goal of the program is to show individuals with physical and visual disabilities how participation in sport and living a healthy, active lifestyle can have a profoundly positive impact on their lives.

When: October 6, 2012
Time: Registration starts at 7:15 AM; the conference runs from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM

If you are a person with a disability or a family member of a person with a disability traveling outside of the Davidson County area, you may be eligible for reimbursement for your travel expenses through the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities' Education Travel Grant. Please specify if you would like to apply for travel reimbursement through this grant on the conference registration form.

On site accommodations have been arranged for Friday and Saturday nights, if needed. Accommodations are $15 per night, which includes two meals. Check in on Friday starts at 5:00 PM, and if you need to stay over on Saturday night, check in for that night will be during the conference registration at 7:15 AM.
Conference Registration Fees
The conference fee is $15. The conference fee is waived for those that registered on or before September 15.
